Welcome to the Introduction to the Workbook lessons of A Course in Miracles.
You will receive Lesson One to your inbox shortly! But since I know some people skip the introduction, I wanted to highlight that going through it first is actually essential, as it sets the foundation for everything to come.
Let’s dive into the key points together, so we’re fully prepared to start these transformative workbook lessons.
365 Lessons, One per Day
The Workbook consists of 365 lessons, each designed to be applied for one day over the course of a year. Think of it like a daily practice for mind training—only a few minutes each day are needed. As we move forward, you might feel inspired to dedicate more time, but starting with a few minutes each day is just perfect.
Two Main Sections: Undoing & Receiving
The lessons are split into two parts:
Application to Everything
Each lesson is designed to be applied to everything we experience in a day—every situation, every thought, every feeling. The goal is to generalize the practice so it can transform every area of our lives.
Inclusive and Universal
No matter your background—Christian, atheist, scientist, spiritual seeker—A Course in Miracles welcomes everyone. This isn’t a religion; it’s a mind-training course that helps us remove blocks to peace. Anyone called to it can benefit from its transformative insights.
Morning Practice and Mindfulness Throughout the Day
Ideally, we start each day with the lesson, just like brushing our teeth. Each lesson has simple instructions, sometimes asking us to apply it to things we see or to our thoughts. Writing down the day’s action steps or using reminders on your phone can help keep it top of mind.
It’s natural to experience some resistance—missing a day, forgetting, or feeling frustrated.
Remember, every time we bring our focus back to the lesson, we’re practicing a powerful act of self-love. If you miss a day, just pick up where you left off, or repeat the previous day’s lesson.
And if intense emotions arise, see them as opportunities for healing.
Yes, mind training requires commitment, but it’s also meant to be joyful!
Approach each lesson with a sense of curiosity and playfulness, knowing that this journey is helping you uncover peace, joy, and purpose within.
Remember: You don’t need to like, believe, or even understand the lessons at first. Just practice.
Through experience, you’ll start to see the lessons’ truths unfold in your life.
With that, let’s dive into Lesson One together! (Access to Lesson One is in your email inbox.)
Thank you for joining me on this journey to peace, freedom, and purpose. Let’s do this!
Love,
